Perché scegliere il Coworking. E soprattutto: come scegliere il Coworking.

[English text follows – Please scroll down the page]

7.
Professionisti
– “Perché incontro gente in gamba”

[ENGLISH TEXT]

Wandering how to figure out which coworking space fits your needs better?

Here are our 10 magic secrets, discovered after three and half years of coworking, every day, all day 🙂

1.
Closeness –
“Because it’s near”

To go to work by bicycle, or on foot is pricelee.

Don’t underestimate this simple fact.

2.
Environment –
“Because it’s a good place to work in”

Work is the reason to go to a coworking space. This is possibly the most important aspect to consider: are you going to work well in that particular environment?

The answer to this question should determine your choice.

3.
Economy –
“Because it offers a perfect price/quality ratio”

It’s not a matter of “price” but, rather, of balance between the money you spend and the people you get to know. And, eventually, the events you get involved into.

Don’t forget that coworking rhymes with networking 🙂

4.
Feeling – “Because I like it!”

Listen to your guts.

As in all things of life, you’re always better off with something you instinctevily like.

Chances are your work will be more performing, too.

5.
Service –
“Because it offers exactly what I need”.

In coworking, less is more.

The “smart” idea of sharing a space is not about additional services such as someone answering the phone for you, for instance… although services such as these may be important to someone, the perfect coworking recipe is always:

good internet connection + good coworking community

Verify what your needs are in terms of services, and then decide.

6.
Hospitality –
“Because it values relationships”

Coworking is not a traditional business, but a workstyle that values relationships.

For this reason, the best coworking spaces are always open to free options, for a day or two, as agreed by the Coworking Visa program.

7.
Professionals – “Because I meet smart people”.

Coworking is all about meeting people, isn’t it?

So, before you decide, consider what kind of professionals atttend regularly the coworking space, and think if you’d like to connect to them on a professional level.

8.
Owners
“Because the space owners run an interesting business”

In the Cowo network, all coworking spaces are also the home to an existing business, so it might be interesting for you to take a desk in a company that means something for your activity, or personal tastes.

9.
Conversation
“Because they have a good online reputation”

The online conversation is part of the coworking DNA, without the first coworkers sharing their impressions online, the coworking movement would have never developed.

Whoever loves coworking talks about it, shares content about it, blogs about it… and – in so doing – help other professionals to get in touch with the coworking option.

10.
Seriousness
“Becuase whatever they do, they do it well”

Last item, not the least.

Keep an eye on how the space owners do things while managing the place, whether they care about small things, what kind of attention they reserve to coworkers’ needs, how is the community managed.

Don’t forget to check their online reputation, too. And if you don’t find anything… go back to no. 9… 😉
